Specialist culinary equipment can be found in Simon Rogan’s new shop Rogan’s. Round the corner in Cavendish Street there is Gatehouse Gallery also Cartmel Village Vintage or the antiquarian bookshop. Chocolates and Ice cream from Hales of Cartmel are not to be missed. Cockles in Cartmel is a great one-stop shop for all your grocery needs during your stay. Further afield Three miles away is Grange over Sands which has a mini Co-op, Tesco and Spar. Booths in Ulverston is just 20 minutes away. Kendal offers all the usual big town shops.
