Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes – The bed is made up ready for you, and all bedding, towels and washing cloths are supplied for your stay

Are there cleaning products?
Yes  – we leave washing up liquid and hob cleaner

Is the cottage Pet Free?
No pets – strictly no pets allowed in either cottage

Is there Heating?
Yes – Both cottages have central heating operating on a generous thermostatic timer, and we also have a log stove for you to enjoy with enough firewood for your stay.

Is there a log stove?
Yes, there is a Morso log stove and enough firewood for your stay.

Is there safe parking?
Yes, we have safe private off-road parking.

Is there a coffee maker?
Yes, we have a cafetiere and a Moka pot. We leave an arrival pack that has coffee, coffee bags, tea, fruit tea, milk, sugar and hot chocolate so you can make a refreshment when you arrive. Please bring your own preferred fresh coffee.

Is there WiFi?
Yes, we have free WiFi in the cottages

Is there a SMART TV?
Yes, both cottages have a SMART TV linked to WiFi – you can sign in to watch Netflix, Prime, or iPlayer

How far away is Cartmel?
We are 1 mile from Cartmel along a quiet country road. There is a torch in the cottage if you need one.

How far away is L’Enclume?
We are 1¼ miles from L’Enclume, we advise you book a taxi before you arrive.

Do I need to clean the cottage when I leave?
No, you do not have to strip the beds or wash the floor; we do ask that you respect the cottage and keep them clean. We do ask that you take your recycling, bottles and refuse to our recycling point in our car park.

When do I get my damages deposit back?
If you have paid a damages deposit, we aim to return it to the bank details you supply within a week of your departure.

Can I smoke at the cottage?
Crumble Cottages have a strict no-smoking and no vaping policy anywhere on the property or gardens.

Can we book both cottages?
Yes – and both cottages can use hot tub if you want to share!

Do both cottages have a hot tub?
The hot tub is only available with Upper Crumble

What time is check-in/check-out?
The cottages are ready from 15:30, and the cleaner will arrive at 10 am on the day you depart.

Is there a tumble drier?
Both cottages have washer driers.

Is there a dishwasher?
We provide washing up liquid and cleaning utensils, but there is no dishwasher.
